Culinary Impressions from Israel II

I know, I know... Have you ever asked yourself how the food in the Middle East is and what could you expect going on holidays to Israel? I mean beside the missiles last days that could blow your brain away? From the culinary side Israel is a melting pot of cultures from all over the World. And anyone brought his own dishes and recipes. Now it's not only a dream from every Mediterranean cuisine lover but also the heaven for vegetarians. I can only hope the situation will change. Lufthansa already has the money for my ticket and I really don't want to spend my days there sitting in a shelter.

It's been a long time since I got the photos. Long story short: During my last year exchange in Israel and my very long stay in the country I made friends with a very nice Austrian lady. She was traveling along the country for three months and we had the chance to become friends in Haifa. She is also the author of the photos below. I've just realized that I have never posted them! To be honest, I found them on my computer a couple of days ago. Since I'm going to meet with R. soon I thought I should finally post the photos. Some of them are not 100% vegetarian but I tried to do my best in hiding the meat in the photos. Thank you R. for your contribution to my blog and sorry for the delay!

I hope I made you curious - enjoy the pictures!

Mojitos, mojitos

I've just realized that I was quite lazy in updating my blog. For my excuse: I do try to keep it alive on my Facebook page. To say "I have no time" would also not be a lie. Just a lot of things to do. So, YES I have a lot to update here so for the beginning keep calm and enjoy one of my mojitos and I'll try to do my best soon.
