Food in Israel - Jerusalem

Yerushalayim shel zahav... Jerusalem of Gold... is the beginning of a traditional Israeli song. And that's true. Jerusalem is an amazing city. Together with Rome and Athens it's one of the cornerstones of our culture. I really can't describe all my feelings and impressions in just few words. So take a look on the pictures - some impressions of the yummi food in Jerusalem...

I spent in Jerusalem 3 whole days. The most I loved was the Shuk Mahane Yehudda (Mahane Yehudda Market) where I bought some spices and a lot of sweet things and all the second hand bookshops around the Old City where I bought so many books, that they're still on the way to Germany...

Food in Israel - Massada

On Palm Sunday we went to Massada and to the Dead Sea. After we were hiking the path from the top of Massada to the entrance hall, we were so sungry that we had some falafel, chips, humus, vegetables and pitot in the restaurant down there. We went in two cars and before we split on the way to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, we had a farewell meeting in a small restaurant/bar in the desert which is called "LAST CHANCE". The girls had some coctails and some other food.
